Understand. Heal. Grow.

We are shaped by our experiences--the relationships that we have had, the losses we carry, the expectations we have internalized and other moments that have left their mark in ways that are not yet understood. Sometimes those influences surface in anxiety, depression, anger, grief or conflict. Other times they appear as vague sense of disconnection, or a feeling that despite doing everything right, something essential is missing.

Therapy offers a safe, compassionate space to understand those influences with clarity. Drawing on evidence-based practices, our work is tailored to the complexity of each person, honoring both the depth of your history and your capacity for genuine change.

This clarity and understanding is not the destination, though.  It's your foundation for everything that comes next. From that ground, healing deepens, growth becomes sustainable and the  life you are working toward begins to take shape.

Meet Elizabeth Rae Walker, LMFT 31203

With over 30 years of clinical experience, I have come to understand that no two people and no two stories are alike.  That belief is at the center of everything I do.  Every client I work with receives care that is thoughtful, individualized and grounded in a genuine understanding of who they are and what they are carrying.

My clinical background spans a wide range of treatment settings including partial hospitalization, residential treatment, community mental health and private practice. Over the course of my career, I have worked with adults and late adolescents navigating depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, addiction and the lasting effects of physical, emotional and sexual abuse. That breadth of experience means that whatever you bring into the room, it will be met with knowledge, steadiness and care.

My background extends beyond the clinical. With an MBA and years of experience in the corporate world, as well as in state and federal child welfare in roles ranging from direct service to management to consulting, I bring a broad and grounded perspective to the work.  If your concerns involve the workplace, career or organizational stress, you will find a therapist that understands that world from the inside.

I am also a lifelong learner. I remain committed to ongoing training and professional development--not as an obligation, but because this work deserves it, and so do you.
